Bronte and I got up between 10 and 11 and did the usual.. We both had Special K cereal and I had an apple! Then we got to work... its crunch time on homework since we will be doing a ton of moving around after this Friday...
The boys slowly rolled out of bed... one after the other making eggs for breakfast, per usual! Bronte and I still clacking away on our computers.. she got a test done and I got a quiz and short paper done... I guess somewhat productive
...
AND THEN
...
For the first time in homework history
...
Joe Confalone sat down with us and started his homework for his one online class. He has now crossed over to the other side of the homework hell on our rest days!
Haha, anyway! Lunch consisted of random fridge options, I had crackers and salami and cheese (bummer right?)... the boys' eggs for 'breakfast' was actually around lunch time! We definitely aren't in calorie deficit though!
We did some adulting and got some laundry done, but not much else happened besides the grocery store down the street for ingredients for dinner and breakfast the next morning. Joe made the stir fry for dinner and Tanner made some rice, it turned out very good!!! We are getting close to the end of the Breaking Bad season so we JUST HAD to watch a few episodes after dinner! :) We are all now in the kitchen, the land of the wifi! Bronte is trying to Skype Trevor outside, and Tanner is talking to his Mommy! Joe is loading an episodes of a few of his shows so he can watch them in his room... and that's a wrap on the day!
The next steps: (figuratively and literally)
1. I need to finish my paper tomorrow (wednesday) and possibly buy boots since mine have a little too much love on them!
2. Thursday go to Poble Espanyol (A smaller Carcassonne equivalent for those of you who know) for dinner, then enjoy the lights of the Magic fountain, and possibly try a bar or two for our first night out in Barcelona. Bronte and I have researched late night busses back, don't worry :) (Bronte + Payton = research QUEENS)
3. Friday clean and pack up and take the late flight out to Dublin where we will then meet up with the rest of the Gifford family!
Remember that we love you all and can't wait to see you again (but are having an amazing time as well)
-Payton, on behalf of Bronte, Tanner, and Joe!
