I have recently failed at blogs! Don't you worry, we have all the time in the world to get them up now! Here is yesterday's.. The others will be up soon as well! -Payton
Bronte, Trevor, and I were the only ones to wake up at 8:30am to make breakfast before 9:30am. It was pretty run of the mill… Cereal, toast, jelly, off brand Nutella, oranges, coffee…
It was back to bed for us after that! I slept another 15 minutes before showering… and the rotations then began for all of us except Joe to shower. He squeezed every moment out of sleeping that he could!
We packed up and checked out between 10:30 and 11:00am. Off to the next place it was! It was only 0.8 miles to the next place, and I had looked the directions up beforehand so that Tanner could find the place for us!
A girl in the lobby giggled at us as we left… we probably looked pretty funny packed to the gills with a bunch of bags bigger than we are!
I told the woman that owns the house that we would be there around noon to drop bags off, but we got there much faster than anticipated! We got there around 1!:15am… and it hailed on us for a second…. But she showed up at around11:30am thank goodness! She had her husband and children with her, and let us in to drop our bags off. A family had stayed there the night before so she needed to clean so we were kicked out until 4:00pm, but we were okay with that! Bronte had to get some homework done anyway.
The woman told us that the library allows a free hour a day on the Internet, and on our way there, we ran into a Dunnes store. We had yet to be in a Dunnes store… and they are HUGE, and we wondered what it was like in there.. so we stopped in and thank goodness we did! It is like a Macy’s with a grocery store… which is nice because it is super close to the house and now we don’t have to walk a mile with our groceries like I thought we would from the Tesco grocery store across town.
There was a café in the Dunnes store, so Bronte posted up there at BBs for about 2 hours. I got to message Colin for a bit and shopped around near the café! I got a toasted chicken ceasar salad wrap, Trevor got a cappuccino, and Bronte got a tea. The boys then jettisoned us and landed themselves at a pub! The made their way back to us, but Bronte wasn’t done yet so they ventured upstairs… apparently they rode a small rollercoaster a few times upstairs but that chances of me believing that are zero.
Once Bronte submitted her paper, she and I stopped at the Subway and the boys (Joe, Tanner, and Trevor) poked into the pet store… poor animals that had to deal with them…. ;)
Bronte and I didn’t know they went into the pet store so we popped into a bar across the street and I got a Guinness until we finally saw them come out of the pet store and down the street, where I popped outside to let them know where we posted up! After I finished my beer, the boys got another so Bronte and I left to check out a secondhand store mom mentioned, and also made an appointment for a session to try on wedding dresses for Bronte at a cute shop in town!
It started to sprinkle so of course, back at the bar! The boys finished their beers and we found ourselves near more food in the Dunnes store grocery section. Beer, Whiskey, chips, dinner stuff, and some shampoo and conditioner is about all we would shell out some cash for!
Back at the house (a 3 bedroom, living room, kitchen, backyard grandma’s house worthy of a thing) we made ourselves right at home, claimed rooms, and popped open the Dorito’s bags!
WE HAVE NO WIFI. May I repeat. NO WIFI.
IT’s about to get real old school in here. It was been 2 hours and Trevor has played with the little kid blocks, Bronte broke out a puzzle from the cabinet, and Tanner frantically scans the 7 channels we have on TV. Looks like we are stuck with Red Bull sponsored cliff diving competitions, The Grinch Who Stole Christmas, and the Simpsons! Could be much worse!
Bronte and Trevor are now making dinner (Bolognese sauce large fresh tortellinis with zucchini)
Joe Is now working on the puzzle and claimed that Bronte is bad at finding the side pieces LOL tough crowd.
Trevor leaves for Dublin tomorrow evening…..
And it looks like we will be revising those Rick and Morty episodes that are preloaded on Tanners tiny computer…..
No Internet is good for us… right? Might not be safe to actually make us talk to eachother anymore… haha JK!
We have the battleship board game. All will be okay!
Love you all!
